On 13 June 2021 (Sunday), 64th Festival of Sport (FOS) - Hong Kong Chinese Chess Open Rapid Competition 2021 was successfully held at Tai Kok Tsui Sports Centre.

There were 5 competition categories, including junior primary, senior primary, junior secondary, senior secondary and post-secondary and open group, with over 150 players joining this event.
